Delivery Partner Terms
Last updated:
For delivery partners using the Synckube Delivery app: who can join, how verification works, how trips and earnings work, and what we expect from each other.
1. About these terms
These Delivery Partner Terms are an agreement between you and Affy Cloud Solution Pvt Ltd ("Synckube", "we", "us") for using the Synckube Delivery app to deliver orders from shops on Synckube. The Terms & Conditions, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply. By submitting your details in the app, you accept these terms.
2. Our relationship
You are an independent delivery partner, not our employee or agent. You decide when to go on duty, which trips to accept, and whether to work with other platforms too. We do not set working hours and you have no minimum number of trips.
Nothing in these terms takes away any benefit or protection you are entitled to as a platform worker under the Code on Social Security, 2020 or any scheme made under it.
3. Who can deliver
- You are at least 18 years old and allowed to work in India.
- You hold a valid driving licence for the vehicle you use.
- Your vehicle is registered, and has the insurance and pollution certificate the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 requires.
- You have a smartphone that can share its location and receive notifications.
- You have a bank account in your own name.
4. KYC and verification
Before you can see or accept trips, you submit the following in the app:
- your full name, date of birth and a clear photo of yourself;
- your Aadhaar number, with photos of the front and back of your Aadhaar card;
- your PAN, with a photo of your PAN card;
- your driving licence number, photos of its front and back, and its expiry date;
- your vehicle type and registration number, with a photo of the RC; and
- your bank account holder name, account number and IFSC.
A person on our team reviews your submission. Your status in the app moves from Incomplete to Under review, and then to Approved or Rejected. If it is rejected, we tell you why, and you can correct the problem and submit again.
Your documents must be genuine and your own, and you must keep them current (for example, renew your licence before it expires). We may ask you to verify them again. Submitting false or someone else's documents leads to permanent deactivation and may be reported to the authorities. How we handle these documents is set out in the Privacy Policy.
5. Going on duty and receiving offers
- You receive trip offers only while you are on duty. Switch off duty whenever you want to stop receiving them.
- Offers are for orders near your current location, which is why the app needs your location while you are on duty.
- Each offer shows the shop, its distance from you, the distance from the shop to the customer, and what you will earn.
- An offer goes to the first partner who accepts it. Accept only trips you can complete.
6. Running a trip
- Go to the shop and mark that you have arrived.
- Collect the packed order and mark it picked up.
- Mark it out for delivery and take it to the customer's address.
- Hand it over and mark it delivered.
Update each step only when it has actually happened; the shop and customer rely on these updates. While you carry an order, the app shares your location at regular intervals so the customer can see where the delivery has reached.
Handle orders with care, keep food and other items clean and upright, and never open, use or swap anything in a customer's order. Use a customer's name, phone number and address only for that delivery, and do not keep or share them afterwards.
If you cannot complete a trip after accepting it, contact support immediately so the order can be reassigned. Repeatedly abandoning accepted trips may lead to suspension.
7. Earnings and payouts
- Each trip pays a fixed pickup amount plus an amount per kilometre, based on the distance between the shop and the delivery address as calculated by the app. The earning is shown on the offer before you accept, and that is what the trip pays.
- We may change the pickup amount or per-kilometre rate for future offers. Changes never affect a trip you have already accepted.
- You can see each completed delivery and what it paid in the Earnings screen.
- Earnings are paid to your verified bank account, after any deductions the law requires, such as tax deducted at source.
- You are responsible for your own income tax and any other taxes on your earnings.
- If you are asked to collect payment from a customer, you hold that money on behalf of the shop or Synckube, not as your earnings, and must settle it as the app or our team instructs.
8. Conduct and safety
- Follow traffic laws, wear a helmet on two-wheelers, and do not use your phone while riding.
- Never deliver under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Be courteous. Harassment, threats, abuse or discrimination against anyone are not allowed.
- Do not arrange orders or payments with customers or shops outside the app.
- Report accidents, thefts or safety incidents to support, and to the police where appropriate, as soon as you safely can.
Your safety comes first. You are never required to complete a trip that you believe is unsafe.
9. Vehicle, phone and costs
You provide and pay for your own vehicle, fuel, maintenance, insurance, phone and mobile data. Unless we tell you otherwise in writing, Synckube does not provide insurance for you or your vehicle.
10. Service quality
We may use feedback from customers and shops, and your trip history, to review service quality. We will talk to you about repeated problems before taking action, except in serious cases.
11. Suspension and deactivation
You can stop delivering at any time by going off duty, and you can ask us to close your account.
We may suspend or deactivate your account if, for example:
- you submitted false or someone else's documents, or your documents have expired;
- you marked trip steps that did not happen, or tampered with an order;
- you misused a customer's or shop's personal details;
- there is a serious safety incident or repeated verified complaints about you; or
- the law requires it.
We will tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond, unless there is an urgent safety or legal reason not to. Earnings for deliveries you completed before deactivation are still paid, subject to lawful deductions and to amounts you owe, such as payments you collected and did not settle.
12. Responsibility for orders
While an order is with you, you are responsible for loss or damage caused by your negligence or misconduct. Our liability to you is limited as set out in the Terms & Conditions, to the extent the law allows.
13. Changes, law and grievances
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before significant changes take effect. They are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh have jurisdiction.
Questions: support@synckube.com. Complaints: our Grievance Officer, who acknowledges complaints within 24 hours and resolves them within 15 days.
